Developed for the most challenging environments, the Darim PVE400 Portable Video Recorder/Streamer is a robust, single channel video encoder for recording to internal solid state storage and/or streaming high quality MPEG4 video and audio through an Ethernet conenction. This compact and portable unit supports field-operational features such as Fischer Auto-Locking/Quick-release Interfaces, Aluminum rugged encasement, Waterproof camera and Field-replaceable Lithium-ion battery, specifically designed to meet the needs of harsh operating conditions or critical/emergency response teams.
Available as a standalone unit, its built-in ability to support a variety of generic analog video cameras, to operate via battery or external DC feed, and to act as both a video recoder and IP camera, ensures the PVE400R has the flexibility to integrate and adapt to a number of deployment scenarios.
Access to the PVE400R recorded data and live video can be offered though a simple web browser, or through the Darim Video Spider Console. The Video Spider security management system offers connectivity to an unlimited number of cameras, video servers, storage servers, and control rooms. Connections between system components are organized over IP LANs, WANs and the Internet, allowing the system to be distributed worldwide.
